President's Welcome
In 1986, a little girl who lost her battle with leukemia before experiencing her wish was the inspiration behind Give Kids The World
At that time a promise was made to never turn away a child whose one wish was to experience all the magic Central Florida has to offer.
Now, twenty-four years later, we have reached a bittersweet milestone: welcoming our 100,000th family.
We are forever grateful that so many generous and compassionate individuals share our commitment to that promise because without their support this simply would not have been possible.

2010 Founder's Day Celebration
Give Kids The World celebrated Founder’s Day with the grand opening of the new Park of Dreams, complete with the 80-foot long pirate ship, serendipity and the interactive water garden.
The day’s events also included a special honor for GKTW Founder, Henri Landwirth who, along with his twin sister Margot, turned 83.
